“The tour guide was terrible. She didn’t speak loud enough to be heard. She told all of us to meet at a certain time so we could take a tram to the top of the mountain. We showed up at the time she told us. The entire group was gone. When we caught up she told me that she thought everyone was there so they went ahead. Really? The whole ride home she barely said anything even though it was a different route than the one we took there.”

Although it's possible and pretty easy to do the trip without a guide, I would really recommend booking a guide. It removes all of the stress and allows you to learn a lot more about Switzerland than you would without one. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone that has a free day in Switzerland! “First you cancel our tour that was confirmed before we arrived to Zurich ( under my wife name) later on we do another reservation( under my name) for our last day at Zurich ( Feb 7 2026) and as per our bad experience with the other reservation, my wife begins to send message at the App because we were at the meeting point since 9:20.... 9:30 and as the time pass NO ONE CAME IN asking for our names, NObody with any ID we could identify, we asked several people around, some time looks like guides and we try to call and call does not go thru NO ONE came…”
