“Overall a great trip! The night train is certainly an experience, but don't necessarily expect to get a lot of sleep on the train. The organization of the trip worked out well. The hotel was nice and the view of the rice fields was fantastic. The guide was enthusiastic, attentive and spoke good English. The trekking is quite challenging in the humidity and the heat. At the beginning of the trek we were joined by some local women. There is apparently a sort of informal arrangement that they watch out over the group.
